Building Your Wealth

Do you spend more time planning a vacation for your family than you do for your retirement?

Let’s be realistic here. Planning a vacation is way more enjoyable than planning for your future. Vacations are instant, fun and relaxing. However most of the time, when it comes to planning a retirement it’s built on uncertainty, fear and confusion. Which, in the end, makes everyone want to avoid planning their future financials.

But, if you plan your retirement right, it doesn’t have to be so scary. In fact, planning for your retirement can be just as simple as planning for that exciting vacation that’s got you up at night in anticipation for it. Geoffrey Greenall can help you plan a financial future that will make you and your family excited for your upcoming years.

Protect your assets using an independent insurance Broker

What do I do? Simply put, I help business owners and families alike achieve their financial goals and protect what is important to them with insurance. I’m kind of like an objective voice of reason. For example, a small business owner in West Vancouver, North Vancouver or Squamish might be looking for ways to take earnings out of their company at a lower tax rate. There are ways to accomplish this through types of life and critical illness insurance. Another example would be helping a self-employed contractor in North Vancouver lessen the risk of exposure with their investment portfolio, by using segregated funds rather than mutual funds or GIC’s through a bank. Most people don’t know that segregated funds can be creditor proof, which is critical for a business owner. Of course, I still help home buyers in Squamish or Surrey save to buy their first home through RRSP’s and TFSA’s as well as providing the appropriate life insurance coverage so they can avoid the dreaded bank insurance.
